We are proud of our history in Madison’s Atwood neighborhood. Owner Scott Saunders graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a degree in Fine Arts – Fiber in 1995. In 1998 he moved to Madison and began an upholstery apprenticeship with Paul Raymond and Ron Derra at Home & Office Upholstery on Atwood Avenue. Scott continued to pursue and fine-tune the art of upholstery for nearly 25 years. Paul owned and managed Home & Office Upholstery from 1979 until his retirement in 2021. When he decided to retire, Paul entrusted his business to Scott – to continue a tradition of quality craftsmanship, honesty, and pride that has always been the hallmark of Home & Office Upholstery. Upholstery Arts on Atwood is a continuation of that legacy. Paul's work has created countless memories for over 40 years. There are many more to come.
